This is a holding space and safe zone for my own stakeholders! Cai Hong is our safe word! It comes from mandarin! In English it means Rainbow. Cai Hong also represents hope and good expectations in mandarin. You will be very safe here without fear of being exposed and discovered. All can be anonymous and specific people know this area. You just need to draw houses, trees, and people on a piece of white paper. Then I will give a brief description of the painting, or my feelings about the painting. Especially the emotions that have been suppressed for a long time. Introverts and those who are not good at expression can be brave enough to express themselves in another way. Only red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple can be used for creation.

First of all, I created questionnaires to collect information about my stakeholders and their intentions, and then I would do qualitative data analysis research. Merriam (2020) also pointed out that data would be collected and analyzed through interviews, observations, and records. Furthermore, the method I use is expressive art therapy. Johnson (1999) argued that creative arts therapy and expressive art therapy had been the most widely emphasized that the principle of difference between them weakens as practice. Expressive art therapy gives more prominence to method and process. O’Brien (1998) explains that action research is the practice of taking steps to solve the problems we have identified and then learning and reflecting on them. Finally, we develop our interventions based on case studies. Moreover, the management strategy for the project will use a SWOT analysis to explore strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. And a Gantt chart uses to manage and plan the time spent on the project, as well as to follow up on time and see the gap between planned and actual time so that you can adjust the project and time.Research:Up to now, sexual repression has been a topic of discussion and research. Freud was the first person to come up with the term. Expressive art therapy creates something that is sometimes a reflection of our inner and subconscious mind. Shao Hui (2020) said that the content of many emotional experiences of human beings is before language itself. These repressed unconscious memory images can be released and defined during painting creation. Yu Li (2014) also believed that Expressive Art Therapy has a cathartic effect on young people and alleviates depression. These primary and secondary studies serve as critical evidence and a direct link between the current theoretical basis and social issues.
Intervention:
I have chosen the House-Tree-Person test (HTP test) as an intervention. I decided on this intervention because I found that some stakeholders refused to participate in my first intervention. After all, they were afraid of being exposed to the camera. Although some experts were optimistic about my idea, some tutors also felt that many people were shying away from improvisation and that the first intervention did not manage to get more people involved. I first created a Padlet called Cai Hong, the safe word for everyone. It is the Mandarin word for rainbow and represents hope and reasonable expectation. This space is a safe zone where everyone can express themselves freely and boldly and where they can stand up to themselves. If anyone feels uncomfortable, they can leave at any time. It is essential to ensure the privacy and security of my stakeholders. I set the room to be anonymous and accessible to specific people. I chose this test because Yu and others(2016) mentioned the HTP test as an intervention to alleviate anxiety in their study. I would likely see if it could use as an intervention for my research subjects.
Audience:The audience I chose for my intervention was young Chinese LGBTQIA+ people who study and work in the UK between the ages of 20 and 35. I decided on these stakeholders for my intervention because this age group is the most active in online social media interaction. This minority is also the group with the highest emotional and social needs in foreign countries. There is also a need for sexual repression relief and catharsis. Not only are they often also the most neglected as sexual minorities, but they are also the representatives of other sexual minorities. If we find solutions, they can be a reference for other sexual minorities. Also, most are still in the observation, understanding, and unchosen stage of relationships. These are the reasons why I chose this group.
Concluding:
In conclusion, the strengths of the project are that it allows more people to participate and express themselves in different ways, and there are no time, space, or regional restrictions. Then, the anonymity and password link maximizes the protection of the stakeholders’ privacy and gives them more time to think. However, the weaknesses of the project are that it does not evoke a great deal of feeling and empathy, and the online format is convenient but not as effective in relieving stress and releasing clarity as offline improvisation. As far as I am concerned, in the theories and literature, I have read, there is often a gap between our views and imagination and the reality of the project. When I receive feedback from stakeholders, tutors, and experts, I need to identify which comments I should take on board.
